Blocking Streets Endangers Lives
Neighborhood parties are one of the great thing s about our community. Self-organized, they are a great way to meet your neighbors and share a bite to eat.
Remember, only the association may close a street and only the county may close a public street. Pleas report noncompliance to the county police.
There have been recent complaints of resident blocking off the private streets to hold an event. While well intended, this is extremely dangeous.
- Vehicles may circumvent vehicles blocking traffic and not see bystanders and other items.
- It’s uncoordinated with association and county officials.
- It would likely delay first responders aiding a person in need.
If you are interested in hosting a party on common area, please seek permission from the association by emailing email@example.com.
